When i worked night's i had a sign on my door it read DAY SLEEPER...........LOADED SHOTGUN ........NOCK AT YOUR OWN RISK!! never had a problem !!

Maybe some bio-hazard tape across the front door.

or a chalk outline of a guy on the porch half in and half out of the door

with a little water based red paint splattered here and there.

I did that in a building my dad use to rent, chalk outline on the floor and yellow hazard tapes across the doors. The guy that owned the building freaked out. I got there just before he called the cops to find out what happened. I was young, had some of the yellow tape, it seemed like a very good idea.

Back to the thread. I have come to find out that in Oak Ridge where I live "No Trespassing" signs are used by dealers to signal that it's a drug house. I use to manage rental property and that's one of the signals believe me (or not), it is actually true.

My place is all fenced in....including the gate to the driveway. I have to get out of the car to open the gate when I go in or out. I also have several dogs including a huge German Shepherd. I have No Tresspassing, Keep Out, and Beware of Dog signs on the gate. No one ever comes in except for my family or friends. Before I fenced the place the local meth heads that live down the road would walk by and I caught one of them in my driveway by my car kicking at my dog. I told him to get off my property and never set foot on it again......he said f u, I'll come back with my .22......I said come right on buddy, I'll be waiting on you with my 12 gauge! Never saw him walk by again After that I fenced the place in and got my German Shepherd. Even in the sticks there's bad people.....just not as many.
