I had to send a pistol back to have them fix the sights. The rep was very nice and prompt, he even called me back the next day when he realized he had my address wrong for my shipping label. He offerred to have a fix rear site be replaced on my pistol instead of the stock combat adjustable sight. I wanted this done, it was notated in the work order but the smith failed to follow through with all the details of the work order.

Customer service was great, but again - it seems like their quality control isn't what it used to be and their smithing is hit or miss. Heard some horror stories about some refinishings for people.

well I bought a sig 556 brand new in Nov 2011, had a 2011 manufacture date. the rifle would not shoot point of aim for nothing. talked to a very nice and cool guy at SIG, he sent me a new set of sights hoping they would fix the problem. They didn’t work. Talked to the same guy at SIG, he wanted me to send the rifle back to SIG for them to look at, I did. I was told not to contact SIG for 14 days, well he called me in 3! amazing really, told me my rifle was junk and that they was going to send me a brand new one out ASAP. Well tons of emails and prob 5 or so phone calls I’m still without my rifle. Iv tried contacting the same guy at SIG and I never get ahold of him. I’ve never had a response to an email I’ve sent and the guy on the phone told me that it was going to be mid February before I would have my rifle.

Don’t really know what to do, not much I can do.

Not sure if he still works there, but here is the contact info of the guy I spoke with if you want to try your luck with him. Many people on sigforum have dealt with him before and given the thumbs up. He seems to get things done.
