You can even get a .500 S&W designed for CCW! It's certainly not MY choice. But if that's what you want, go for it!

Product: Model S&W500

If you used that in a defensive situation, how would you ever explain the number of people with permanent hearing loss, and seizures induced by concussive force?;) I mean, can you imagine kicking that off in an elevator?

Dang, shooting that would have to hurt!

Recoil isn't bad in my 4" barrel S&W 586 although a range day shooting a couple of hundred max .357 loads might get bothersome. Never tried that because it seemed silly to beat up the gun thataway.

A question for folks who have owned/shot Coonan .357-- It would stand to reason that the Coonan would have less recoil than an equivalent-weight revolver? Just curious if that is true.

The bore to wrist is lower and the action absorbs some of the recoil. As to the report and blast, ther is no cylinder gap. It's no where near as lound as my 31/2 m28;).

HEY, he can have a tactical rail on a wheel gun. S&W's M&P line:

Is there a warning that says that gun is impossible to carry due to they don't make a belt or suspenders heavy duty enough to hold up.
