i have access to a 72 acre farm in blount county, where i usually do my shooting. i can set targets at pretty much any distance desired and was wanting to gauge interest in getting some people together to do another meet-n-shoot. if you would be interested please let me know when would be a prefered time. im thinking late february, early march. thanks, ian

ok folks, the date has been set for saturday, march 3rd, at 11am. ill send out directions when it gets closer to the date.

A weekend afternoon is typically best. It'll be a crap shoot with the weather this time of year. You can't be sure what it'll be like tomorrow, much less a month from now. I'd prefer it NOT be the last weekend in Feb. That's my young'uns b'day (26th).

My life is crazy..between work and school and family and church events...but I am definetly interested if the date and time work out. Not available on Sunday. In Febuary I can't for sure on the 11th and the 26th. But I will definetly keep an eye on this idea...

As this being East Tennesse and as unpredictable as the weather is I'd say April sometime, but I'll go whenever, except maybe March 24th.

Dubaholic, one thing I have learned about organizing shoots, pick a date and stand firm. If you wait for a consensus it wil never come off. Thats why them goobers in Chattanooga can never pull it off.

I'd love to come but my schedule is crazy with work and family commitments. The only reason I shoot handguns semi-regularly is because I'm self-employed and sneak out of my office to shoot at lunchtime. I'd like to shoot my AR-15 outside so I'll watch this thread. I'm in the minority, but I'm actually more likely to show up if it's cold. If it's too warm I'll be tempted to mountain bike somewhere or to take my family on a hike.
