Tennessee White Whiskey

I found this stuff New Years Eve when I was shopping at the liquor store. I bought a jar of it and drank some last night. I have to say it is pretty damn good and I see why Popcorn Sutton's product was in such high demand.

This is the first time I have drank legal moonshine and by far it tastes better than any I have ever had

I know Popcorn's work but have not tried the store-bought version.

The only legal "moonshine" I've tasted yet is Mighnight Moon with cranberries and it is the nastiest swill ever jarred. Tastes exactly like rubbing alcohol.

Supposibly this is his Exact recipe, before his death he passed it on and with the help of Hank Williams Jr's financial backing Sutton's widow got it going legally, I plan to visit the distillery in Nashville when I can. It is good stuff I really like it

It is amazing how much the guys in stores up the price on this stuff! 25 per quart? I think I will stick to Vodka for 100 per gallon. Especially when cost is around 7 or 8 per quart. I guess that is why the illegal stuff is still going strong. No one wants to pay the tax on in.
