I'm not so sure real substance matters that much. It does to you, but think of the makeup of the audience. I think Obama will out-cool him. That will go a long way. Looks like we'll get a chance to see for ourselves.

Yes, screw those guys. Citizens who live in liberal states should not have the right to vote for a conservative president.

The primary and the presidential election are totally different. I never said they cannot vote for who is president. Take a look again at the news this past month. It is basically a showdown of which "conservative" candidate can win in the liberal state primary races. When is the last time we had a week long shindig over which one is winning the Texas or TN or Alaskan or whatever primary? Nope, not a word, its all about the big yankee state primary elections. Something is WRONG with that.

Take today's news. Its all about New Hampshire --- which is about 60% liberal and has an insignificant number of electoral college votes to boot. Yet the news is playing it up as if this were the biggest thing to happen since the all week long recounts for W.

Last month it was Iowa, which is about the same -- mostly liberal and not having a game changing amount of EC votes.

I know this is because they vote first, but it has too much effect on the GOP candidates and their desire to drop out or stay in, etc. It pushes the most liberal candidates to the top. I think this is not in the interest of the GOP.

The way Obama can beat Romney in a debate depends on which style they negotiate. They always do this, too. If Obama can focus on Bain Capital and let Romney hang himself, he wins. I think Romney will be another McCain at a debate and will allow the potential race card get in his way of substantive debating. Romney put himself in a hole the other day and pissed off the elite, thinking they might have picked the wrong man for the job. Imagine that!

I would rather see a debate like the one Sarah Palin had with Joe Biden. She tore him to pieces in that one because she had opportunity to introduce substance, instead of just being stuck with symbolism, which is all a Democrat has to offer.

If Romney has the right stuff and was in that style, instead of the goofy Town Hall debates, he could pull it off, with the right handlers and coaches. He has to stick to a very conservative format, and I don't know if he has it

in him to do that.

I guess Santorum was a flash in the pan. :)

It's probably sewn up but I'm looking forward to SC and counting on FL to make a stand. After that and it's still Rom, I just hope he grows a pair.

I do wish that the closed primary states would vote first, we have too many liberal pundits telling us who we want.
