I'm going to guy a 20 gauge to quail and dove hunt with because my 12 is just too much for that small of a bird. I've narrowed down the guns to a Benelli M1 with a 26in barrel and a Browning Gold Hunter with a 28in barrel. Does anybody have any input on this?

It's a coin toss. The Benelli is lighter so that is a small plus.

I know you didn't ask for any other input as to other options.

But I honestly prefer the Winchester Super X3.

I fit's me better and just seem to shoot so nice.

I went ahead and got the Benelli. I've shot a Winchester SX3 and they are nice guns but the Benelli just felt better to me.
