Tn carry class

Just finished our carry class at Coal Creek Armory Outpost in Kingston. It was taught by Mark Coffey from Tactical Advantage Group. He did a great job and we had alot of fun. Me, my wife, my brother, his wife, and a friend all took it together. I highly recommend this class to any who are thinking about it. Now to get the actual permit.

Tell us a little about CCA outpost. I live close, havn't had an opportunity to visit yet.

They have 5 lanes in the range. They don't have any guns yet. They are waiting for the final inspection. They said probably 2 weeks out less. They said they have 80 handguns at the knoxville store waiting to bring in after the inspection. They were nice and helpful. I looked at a couple holsters (they had a good selection).

not sure what the delay is at the outpost, they said back in OCT that within 2-4 weeks they would be all approved and would have guns.

My opinion. Too much regulation. You have to jump through hoops to get anything done. Just my .02. Not real excited with the gov right now.
