Light LEM for HK pistols - Luv it!

Well, I swapped out the firing pin block spring, and the trigger rebound spring on my HK P2000SK LEM to make it "light" LEM this week and finally got to go out to Owl Hollow today and try it out. I must say that I love the LEM even more now. The pull is about 5 lbs. and gives me a little better grouping. Best $12 bucks i spent on the HK.

Anybody who has a LEM variant HK, I would highly recommend doing the "light" LEM swap.

I ordered the kit for my USP 45 and I'm not sure what weight I got it at since I used the factory return spring and hammer spring. The other combos wouldn't fire but the trigger felt "better". I love my LEM it freaked out 2 friends who came to shoot the other day. They told me something was wrong with my HK. I told them naw its just a Heckler and Glock now....... they didn't find that funny LOL.

So did you had a DA/SA variant and changed to LEM? is this the kit you got? Says you can do either heavy LEM or light LEM. Mine was already LEM which was bout at 7.5 lbs and just swapped out the two springs to make it light LEM>

I need to get a trigger gauge. I have a P2000 LEM, but it came that way. It's the only LEM I have ever felt, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

Are there any markings on the springs that would tell which ones they are?

theres no markings, but you can see the difference in the springs. I should have taken some pics of the springs. The two springs are only $12 from HK, so I would just get them. All you need is 3/32 and 1/16 pin punches and a set of needle nose pliers. Takes 10 minutes.

Here is some info on the swap.
