Holster making class

I was at the Tandy Leather store in Memphis on Wednesday. They are planning a class to make custom holsters on Jan 28th. The fee is $20. If I remember correctly, they are providing the leather, you provide the other basic tools. They asked anyone interested to call them in advance and tell them if you are bringing an automatic or revolver. If interested, you should call them:

The Tandy Leather store in Nashville does some classes, I'm not sure if they'd offer something like this though or if their classes are more generic starter stuff. Give them a call and see. They were super helpful when I was in there a few months ago to pick up some leather and tools to make my mine.

HOLSTER MAKING CLASS, JAN. 28TH, 10 AM-1 PM. Learn how to make a holster that conforms to your specific weapon. We provide leather, needle and waxed thread. Each student must bring a straight edge at least 12” long, leather scissors, hole punch, and cling wrap. Optional: dividers, slicker, gum tragacanth, and edge beveler. Class fee is $20.00. All weapons will be checked at the door and must be unloaded. Please let us know what type of weapon you’ll be bringing – revolver or semi-automatic.

I was talking with the Tandy store about teaching one in Knoxville, but they changed managers and I haven't brought up with the new one. They usually help put on good classes so that is a good opportunity.

I went by there today and they said it was tentatively full. She did put my name on the list for a cancelation.

Do they do that here around Chattanooga at all. The ones I have made I had to figure out all on my own. Thank God for google pictures.
