I had one awhile back. Loved it. Never had a single problem out of it. Like an idiot I sold it last year when I got tight on money. They are great guns though.

A couple of months ago I purchased a Sig 1911 TACOPS and love it.

Have shot several in defferent barrel lengths and greatly enjoyed and was impressed by them. I have an RCS 4'' and quite satisfied with it. Considering buying a Platinum Elite version.

I have 2. I have a full size Scorpion and a 1911 Carry (Commander sized) model. Great guns. Some 1911 purists dont like the external extractor, but I have read that when 1911s break, its often the internal extractor, so...

I bought my wife a Sig Stainless Carry. Aside from the rear sight coming loose (set screw wasn't loctited or tight enough from factory I suppose) it is one fine piece of work. I almost sold my Smith 1911 to get one like hers if that tells you anything. They have one of the best safeties I've felt on a 1911. Real snappy/positive. I personally like the blocky look and lines on the Sig 1911. It's a little more modern looking imo. If you buy one you will have a good experience.

I'm very particular so I did send our Sig 1911 back to the factory because the rear slide didn't mate up perfectly to the frame when the slide was forward in battery. It created some sharp corners. Sig refitted the gun with a new barrel and slide and sent it back in 2 days.

I had a full size Scorpion. Got it on a trade, unfired. I shot it some and traded it off. Seemed to be an excellent made firearm. Shot great. Looked great. I agree with the comments about it being somehwat non traditional. Which isn't a bad thing. Not really sure why I got rid of it now that I think about it....

I recently purchased an RCS and I have loved it so far(250 rounds). It surprised me how well it soaks up recoil better than most of my .40 cals even. I was, and still am a huge fan of the .40, and have stayed away from .45's until this point because of the ammo cost. The Sig however shoots so sweet, I can't wait to go burn another 250 rounds!

Mine is sitting on my hip as we speak. I'm glad I chose the Sig, especially with the VZ slimline grips.
