Appropriate quote at least once a week:

"The Soviet Union had a single, entrenched, systemically corrupt political party, which held a monopoly on power. The U.S. has two entrenched, systemically corrupt political parties, whose positions are often indistinguishable, and which together hold a monopoly on power. In either case, there is, or was, a single governing elite, but in the United States it organized itself into opposing teams to make its stranglehold on power seem more sportsmanlike."

Post-Soviet Lessons for a Post-American Century

Exactly. Both parties are Socialist. One is Corporate-Socialist and the other is Populist-Socialist. Neither is republican or free market (note: lowercase "r" in republican)

Ron Paul has my vote. He makes since on everything across the board. I like his economic and his foreign policy. As a veteran of the Iraq War I understand his viewpoints. The United States needs to stop meddling in the affairs of the entire world. I am especially angry about the war mongering currently going on over Iran. If brings back bad memories of the run up to Iraq. The media is already making the case for war at the direction of our current administration. Mitt Romney has already said he supports a military campaign against Iran.

This is where it gets scary. Both China and Russia have already said they are willing to start WWIII if we attack Iran. Iran does not have a bomb and they won't for many years. But make no mistake, if China and Russia join in it WILL be a nuclear war. I am sick of these rich arrogant pricks getting us into these stupid wars. They send our sons and daughters to fight and die, while they kick back and enjoy another glass of wine. This crap has to end. It is not about protecting our freedoms, it is about how much more money they can line their pockets with. It is sickening.

I refuse to support Mitt, Newt, or Obama. They are just more of the same. The line between Republican and Democrat has been blurred. All they care about is getting what they want and it does not matter who they have to control to get it. I urge people to stop watching that crap being forced down your throats by the media. Start paying attention to what they are really doing. Formulate your opinions based on real facts.

I am not one of those people that goes around trying to convince everyone to vote for Ron Paul. I just try to get people to open their eyes to the world around them. If something does not change soon, there will not be any freedom to protect.

I value your service; no doubt you have a unique perspective on Iran, but I can't support Ron Paul for the nomination.

Ron Paul is an appeaser...as a (layman) student of history; I have an appreciation for just how misguided and dangerous appeasement is.

As a veteran and one who still serves, I have an appreciation for just how dangerous nuclear weapons are in the hands of a radical Islamic-based government headed by a madman..if Iran gets them developed with a workable delivery system they will use them...if they use them we will have a world-wide recession unlike anything the world or this country has ever seen; likely followed by a world war unlike anything ever see before. Whether through Israel or directly, the U.S. (indeed the world) cannot let Iran get the bomb...whatever it takes.

I would vote for RP in a general election because 1. he isn't Obummer and 2) he is right on most issues....I cannot support him in a primary.

If RP had a Reagan foreign policy, he could get my vote. Anybody but Obama in the general election.
