Trying to identify a Springfield 1911

I'm trying to identify this springfield 1911. The guy that has it says its a loaded model. It looks like a mil-spec model to me. All the loaded models I've seen have the upgraded sights and serrations on the front of the slide. This one doesn't have either. What do you think?

Also he says it has an upgraded trigger, magwell and other internals.

It's not stainless....the flash of the camera just makes it look that way. He says he has the box it came in new that says its the loaded model. I'd have to see the matching numbers to believe it. It looks like a mil-spec to me to.

Front sights are dovetailed on loaded models and the rear is a Novak (I think Novak). That is a mil-spec that he dressed up to kinda-somewhat look like a loaded. My 2cp's.

The loaded model I used to own had a Novak rear and a dovetailed front.

Just what others said, that's no Loaded. It is a either a Mil-Spec or maybe even a GI. Someone added a couple of hundred dollars worth aftermarket parts to it and is trying to pass it off as such.

One phone call to SA with the serial number and they will tell you what model it started life as and what year it was made.

It is a Milspec cause of the front sight. The GI model has a front sight that cannot be changed unless it is machined out and dovetailed. I have always had Springfield 1911. Now that doesn't mean it's not a nice piece. What is he asking? I once had a GI model I had all done up by Wilson Combat parts and I sold it for $900. All depends on what it's specs are.

Yes its a mil spec I got duped by the place I bought it from and they are no longer in business.The box it came in was for a loaded by part number on box according to Springfield Armorys website.So lesson learned.

It's still worth a good chunck of change. Arguably still worth $750, especially with upgraded parts. But that's just my opinion.
