button activation is a no no unless you are LEO or MIL. Any type of assistance is ok so long as, like strickj said, it can't open on its own. Like with the push of a button.

Thats is true but honestly its really a stupid law if you really do think about it.

Pushing a button and pressing a lever are two mechanically different operations. I guarantee you that my waved Emerson will deploy much faster than any other assisted flicked assisted knife from pocket to slice.

This was the first gun show I have been to in about 10 years. I will have to say that I am a bit dissapointed. The prices on most things were the same or higher than the local dealers. I would run down and see the Rabbi for a gun before I would spend $30 more at the gun show for the same gun. On the note of the auto knives, I have an assisted open buck and it opens as fast if not faster than the autos that I saw. I was looking for an out the front, but didn't realize that they go for $400 or more. I could save that and buy an AR. Anyway, I am done venting. Oh and the stripped lowers... Same price that Rabbi has quoted me for a DPMS. Not such a great deal at the show!!:D

Do you have a reference law for this. I thought the law referenced Dirks , Daggers and Switchblades. Please point me in the direction of the law so I can educate myself.

Looked here couldn't find reference.

Thanks

Miscommunication, moreso on me than you.

I'm not fluent in AR, but I'm thinking DPMS has a decent name? Perhaps better recognition than DoubleStar in any case. For the price difference between the two, it appears it wouldn't be smart of me to disagree with your choice.

I feel like I got a decent deal on the M&P 9mm I paid 430.00 otd it was brand new.

That’s about $385… that is a good deal. Was it a local dealer?
