This one didn't take a weapon with him, but judging by the mugshot he put a few lumps on the suspect. Eventually one of these punks is gonna get some bullets put through them... many of these homes contain women whose husbands are deployed but those women are well armed. I know when I'm gone the ROE for my wife is a lot looser than mine. I don't see a jury convicting a helpless woman protecting two babies because she shot some scumbag that refuses to become a functioning member of society.

No jury I'm on would. We could sit there for years before they would convince me otherwise.

If some criminal tried to press charges against me for detaining him I would sink a lot (A LOT) of money into a good lawyer and pursue a civil case against him (oh I can't sleep at night because I was so violated... mental distress... added stress on deployments because I'm afraid to leave my wife alone) and make sure that he wouldn't earn another cent his whole life without having to give me a cut. Hopefully he's getting some good prison lovin' right now.... he doesn't look like he'd last long in lockup without becoming someone's man-love.
