Show was great from 9-9:45. By 10:30 you couldn't stir em with a stick.

I did find a good deal on a pistol from an individual. Worth the 8 bucks to get in if you go early.

Just got back from picking up some delicious beef jerkey. Madhouse.

I might have walked right by you and not even noticed as I was busy trying not to get run over.

Did see a Ruger LCP "Z" Zombie Slayer which was pretty cool but not that cool at $389. :)

Might have, I tried not to look anyone in the face or they'd see my disgust for crowded places, haha.

No special prices at the tables that's for sure.

I did see a new LWRC AR for $949, until I inquired about it and learned it was an LWRC lower and double star upper. Tag listed as LWRC. I wanted to declare false advertising, but just payed it down and walked away :). Not that I have anything against double star, just thought I found the steal of a lifetime.

I had to read your post twice. I know I am a chump, but I was really feeling like one when I read the price. I feel better after rereading it.

Haha that's how I felt looking at it. They should have put LWRC/Double Star on the tag.

the wife and i went to the knoxville gun show. i don't plan on going back to chilhowee park. it was very crowded. so crowded you couldnt see what people were carrying to trade on. the vendors set up their tables so the columns would be in the walking isles, if somebody stopped to look at something beside a column, it completely stopped the flow of traffic. also i came upon a few rude people. one guy jumped in front of me and made an offer on a gun i was trying to buy. wouldnt have made me so mad but the offer he made was exactly what i was gonna offer. long story short, he got the gun. i walked away red faced. cant wait for the next show at the expo center.

Since I've not had burning desire for a particular gun or one to sell either, I've been going to mostly every other one over the last year, which is the Expo.

However, at least up until the Gestapo at the Expo was replaced, the Jacobs Bld. was much better place to sell, as you can just hang out outside without even paying. And no hassle from the gendarmes.
