WWII P 38 all matching made by spreewerk

I have a P38 from about 1943/44 that is all Matching made by Spreewerk. I have been searching around a bunch to find out what these are going for right now. Does anyone here know what they are worth and how to make that value go up if I can? I do not have the Capture Papers with it and the Mag is not original to the gun, I found it was was made by a subcontractor with JVD stamped on it.

Any Ideas would be great.

Thank you

there is nothing you can DO to make the value go up that is legit. (You can do things to ruin it to attempt to trick your buyers ... not a good plan). Otherwise, the less you touch it the better it will be with the exception of stopping any and all rust. Take it all the way apart, deal with any rust and give it a protective oil wipe down, and take a picture of everything in disassembled state to use as pictures when you sell it (you may want to show the rifleing in a picture as well). Or just sell it as-is and let the buyer clean it up. The only other thing you could do is buy unmatched accessories like an original holster or original cleaning rod, spare mag, etc sorts of things to build up a package, but I doubt you would make money on that, just gives it a cool factor for the eventual happy owner, may or may not make it easier to sell and may or may not turn a profit, you would want to be very careful if you threw money at it in order to flip it.

that helps knowing about the accessory. I think I missed out when I got it because I did not look for the papers from when the guy brought it home and I am sure I saw the holster but did not pick it up. but I do know for sure it was a war bring back as there are no import marks on it at all. and it has little to no rust and it seams to work great. just need some cash now and it is one I am not that attached to. if I could get the 700 out of it that would make my day. I just was hoping it could be one of the more valuable ones.

overall condition is 90% of the value. finish, rust, pitting, import marks, holster wear, matching numbers and manufacturer all play a part in the value of these weapons. and the potential sale of them as well.
