Price for Benefactor status

I'm new here and hope I'm not overstepping myself with this question. Is there any chance the price for Premium Membership (benefactor) will be lowered anytime in the near future? I only ask because I have benefactor status on other forums (different hobby) that offer similar membership deals, but are roughly half the price.

I think a price drop would get more people on board as benefactors, and generate more trades and sales. Thanks,

Joe

This is the only site I have paid for membership on for hobbies. If you have ever needed to sell something gun related this is the place! There is a great group of honest trustworthy folks who make this a great community. I have been a benefactor for many years and personally feel it's a great price for what you get.

With all due respect--its $35 a year--pretty much a dime a day. I seriously doubt folks without $35 dollars in discretionary income would post quality guns for sale. You can buy and trade without being a benefactor.

Personally, i am happy with the price--i wouldn't raise too much hell if it went to $50 a year. I'm sure it takes a lot to keep this place running. IMHO, the TGO is a asset to the TN firearm owner.

Agreed. This site is an asset to the TN firearm community for raising awareness and general education, as well as a place to hang out and buy and sell cool stuff from trusted folks. $20 for 6 months or $35 for a year is a pittance. Well worth the minor cost.

Can't beat TGO. I have always had 100% quality pieces and interactions!

As for the price I have never paid for a website before but this one is well worth it! :) TBH without this site, I wouldn't have the guns and acquaintances I have today.

I pay for it and I've never bought, sold, or traded anything on here. I'm just not active in buying or selling. Still worth the price of admission due to the "caliber" of folks here. Well most of them! :)

Highly doubtful that the cost will decrease any time soon since our operating expenses continue to rise as the forum grows. There is always the option of the 6-month membership if you're on a budget.
