So I decided to go see doug at on target today to ask about whether not he is still doing ffl transfers and apparently he is no longer there.

Did you move to a different location that someone else is aware of? Last time I went there was in october and he was still there so this is new to me.

Also did if he is closed does anyone know of another ffl in knoxville to only charges thirty dollars for a transfer

I did my transfers with Doug, too. I'll still be doing my Class III stuff through him, and I'll be sending the wifey through his HCP class sometime soon. I don't know anyone else doing $20+$10 transfers locally, but for an extra $5, I'd recommend Ace Pawn on Clinton Hwy. Nice folks over there.

i believe coal creek does them for $25+10

Yeah but they also charge tax so it comes $37.31 and they make you pay per each gun.

I went down to Ace Pawn and the guys there were pretty nice. There were like 4 of them behind the counter. Their prices are a little high but they are nice enough. They had an M&P 15 Sport for $699 and a used Para 1911 for like $469. Not exactly the greatest prices but their selection was pretty vast. Lots of semi autos and quite a few revolvers. They said theirs would be a flat charge of $35 and they are close to me so we'll do that. I wish Doug would come back and do my transfers. I just liked him better.
