I am sorry to hear this. Specialty Arms is the shop I visit; the guys there have always been great to me. I hope everything's insured and that everyone is back to work soon.

If arson as suspected, I hope they catch the dirt-bag soon.

Prayers to all affected.

Jeez, I was just there on Friday fondling toys and trading jokes with the guys there. I've bought many a gun there and they're a good bunch of people. I hope they get whoever did this and soon.

My favorite line: "The fire was triggering bullets from guns and ammunition within the store."

Too bad. I've known John for a long time and all he needs is this hassle. Glad no one was hurt.

John's a good man, I hate to hear this happen to him but I'm glad no one was hurt. I hope things get sorted out for him quickly, I know how much a pain in the butt a fire can be, even a small one.

The only thing lower than a thief is an arsonist!

John and I rode to Texas a few years ago and killed turkeys, he didint deserve this, the man would give you the shirt off his back.

He and the crew are trying to clean up and sort through anything they can salvage and try to get back to selling SOMETHING to tide them over until the insurance takes over. Word is, they know who did it, but even if they catch him, it wont help put the place back together. Its gonna suck for a while.

Here is what was posted on facebook yesterday:

Specialty Arms II

"Well the cleanup continues, and we have a few answers to questions concerning guns that were on layaway or special order.. the boss will be calling customers in the next few days to see if anyone is ready to pick stuff up that is available. If you fall into this group please be patient as we have one phone line operating and we will be contacting you. It will be a long road ahead, but we are determined to get back on our feet and take care of our customers. Without all of you, we are nobody. Thanks"
