Setting up a mini-bar?

So, I'm tired of looking at bottles of various alcohols stashed around my apartment wherever they fit, so I've decided to set up a small mini-bar. However, I'm not going to spend a couple hundred bucks on an actual mini-bar setup. I'm figuring on re-purposing some piece of furniture, like a small cabinet or a cheap kitchen island and turn that into the bar to hold the alcohol, some glassware, and maybe some cans of tonic or soda. Any ideas or tips?

We've got an old chest of drawers in the kitchen. Painted white, over-sized glass top. On the top there's room for the coffeemaker & several bottles of booze w/glasses. In the drawers are stored coffee, filters, more booze and glasses plus canning jars/supplies in the bottom drawer. Oddly enough, it really doesn't look terribly redneck-ish and we've actually gotten compliments on it.
