So a lady of which I have never meet stops in the shop today and asks me if I can put front brakes on her Tahoe. My reply was of course, but wouldn't you like an inspection and estimate? She tells me that she has had this vechicle for a while and knows when it is time for brakes by the noise it is making. I agree with her rational and tell her to check back around lunch time. I pull the suv in and immediately hear the noise, but its coming from the rear. So I get it apart, and the rear are shot, and the front are about half worn. So I get an estimate together,[CYA] and call her to let her know that its the rear she is hearing and not the front. Well, this chick wasn't going to have me tell her what she needed. She was polite, but insisted on me installing new pads on the front. So,being the guy I am, I obliged. I put it back together and called for her to pick it up. She shows up a little while latter, and I reiterate to her again that she still needs to address the rear. She writes me a check, says thank you, then askes me if I had time today to due the rear brakes.Kinda caught me off gaurd, but I took her check told her thank you, and it would be next week before I could get her in again. I am probably one of the most patient guys you will meet, but please don't waste my time. Rant over, carry on..........
