Ok, my body is built really stupid. Skinny everywhere, legs arms, no butt, no hips... I have a bit of a belly, however. Not huge, by any means, but enough to where I have to wear a belt to hold the holster, and suspenders to keep the whole thing from going to my ankles. My work as a musician puts me out of the suitjacket club, so... other options for carry that I should look at, please?

I usually wear an un tucked shirt over a T-shirt. No problems.

While I appreciate the response, and I do that most of the time...

How does it relate to the problem of finding a holster that won't pull my pants down, taking into account my physical build?

Shoulder holster or a smaller pocket gun like a keltec?

Make you're belt tighter  or be cool and don't worry about it and tell everyone you're trying to relate to the younger generation. Kinda like a white Robert Randolph!

You could get a better belt. Wouldnt that work? A belt thats strong enough for a holster not a macys or target belt.

I suppose a shoulder holster rig with belt tie-downs would solve both problems... by keeping your pants up, and removing some load from them. That's not a good t-shirt solution though unless you don't mide wearing an open button-up overshirt or vest.

or dare I say it Thunderwear?

Ok I got to ask What is Thunderwear? Is that a old guy thing or what? Is it like a man girdle or something?

I use a SmartCarry when I'm really casual (sweats, loose no belt shorts), and I have Galco gun belts for regular pant wear. I can't stand them any tighter; besides, they just slip slowly down the "no hip" zone. I think a shoulder rig would be hard to cover with my daily wear.

Guess I'll just keep yankin' my pants up... sigh...

A "murse"... that's good... that's funny...

That Galco X looks like it's only for SIG's and XD's...?

Heres a complete list of what they fit.Click the option tab on top.

I have one for my XD and believe it or not the gun stays kinda hidden under your arm with out a cover shirt(or at least my friends think so)

get a Kahr ...I wear running pants with a drawstring...no issues....

Belly bands are awesome. You can wear them with anything, they're super comfortable, and they conceal the gun extremely well. If you carry a reasonably light gun, you'll forget you have it on.
