Anyways rented a Ruger GP100 357, ended up shooting like 100 rounds through it, really fun gun to shoot. Pretty accurate, good grouping from 35 yards. First time i shot a 357, guess i was expecting a little more kick. The GP100 was kinda heavy which i'm sure helped a little :D Anyways i might actually be in the market for one. I'll keep my eyes open

I borrow my father-in-law's GP100 from time to time (mainly to make sure it gets cleaned regularly, since he never uses it). It's a sweet shooter and even with full-power magnum loads it's more comfy to shoot than a S&W 642 with light .38 plinking ammo.

You can do wonders to a Ruger revolver trigger's feel just by dropping the hammer spring from 14# to 10 or 12#. The trigger is so smooth nothing else is needed to make it feel like an expert has tuned it.

i have an uncle who retired from brushy mtn., where they used to use the gp100's. he said that they had one that had a documented 400,000 rounds through it so they sent it back to ruger to have it checked out. ruger looked at it,did nothing to it, sent it back, and said put another 400,000 through it! cant beat a ruger revolver!

I rented it while in atlanta visiting my parents. Really enjoyed shooting it. You should definitely find one to shoot.

I have been studying up on revolvers and have been reading good things about the Ruger GP100 357 as well. Where did you rent it at. I would like to put a few rounds through one as well.
