Walther PPK Price?

I have a chance to buy a Walther PPK chambered in .32 ACP stainless. It is in very good condition, it is from the 80s (or that's when I was told the gun was made), and it comes with all of the original books/case. Only thing that is missing is the "pinky" magazine. What is a good price to purchase this at?

He said he would take $300 for it and 20 hollow points.

I'm never going to get around to purchasing a 9mm and/or Colt 1903/8.

If it is from the 80's then it should be a "real" PPK and hopefully not a Interarms or S&W import.

.32acp is expensive but for $300 it would be hard to pass up.

The PPK and PPK/s were imported by Interarms for years. The last PPK by Interarms were made by Ranger in Alabama. There has not been a German made PPK/ PPKs since they were made by the Nazi's in WWII. Post war production was made by the French Company Mauhrin then to the States. Walther PP - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The Smith and Wesson model has a different style to the frame from the original and has had a lot of issues.

I find the Alabama made PPK/s to be the best quaility. I bought a like new stainless a while back for 400.00 with no box and one magazine. Yours sounds like a good deal at $300.00.

If you pass on it let me know.

Basing these prices from Dan Shideler's book 2010 Standard Catalog of Firearms.

PPK .32 High Polish - Exc: 550, VG: 450, G: 325, F: 250

PPK .32 Milled Finish - Exc: 500, VG: 400, G: 325, F: 250

PPK .32 w/ Duraluminum Frame - Exc: 950, VG: 800, G: 600, F: 400

If it has any special markings it goes up or down from the above listings pending the markings. Hope this helps a little.

Interesting. I did not know this. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the input. I wish I would of looked at the test target for the date that it was tested instead of trying to figure out what year it was made by the serial number.

For $300 just buy it.

No doubt. I am not crazy about 32 and the price of rounds but I would still love to have it. I realize that I am not the next in line but if you dont buy it and no one else does do shoot me a PM.

I would just buy it if I were you.

I think I am going to pick it up tomorrow. If I decide to sell it I know I'll be posting it on this website.

I'll shoot you a PM if I decide to sell it first though.
