I would really like to pick up another AK and I haven't seen anything locally I am crazy about, Do they have one with a standard non-folding stock?

I heard bad things about that model,so I avoided it and spent a hundred more - do some research i all I can say

I did research. The complaints about canted sights and gas tubes all seemd to be before 2008. I am guessing Obama got CAI straightened out

I asked the lady at Classic about problems with the WASR and she said they had not had any problems for some time.

Anyway it is a real good rifle.

I bought a Saiga (5.45x39) for about $350 converted it the way I liked for about $150 and like magic I'm now an AK-74 guy!

So much so that I'm going to sell my Ruger SR556 and all my .223 ammo!

youve been bitten by the ak bug. its addicting. i did the same thing with my sgl31 and have no regrets. good thing about converting is you can put exactly what you want into the rifle. plus you learn a lot about how they work.
