Hello from New Orleans

Hey TGO,

I'm Derek, and I was born and raised in New Orleans. My local forum is BayouShooter.com. My family has a cabin in Cobbly Nob and we make it up there a couple times a year. I recently got my concealed handgun permit and came here to do a little research.

Seems like with my LA concealed carry permit, the current reciprocity laws, and TN gun laws I can carry open or concealed in TN with my LA permit. Laws seem pretty close to LA's except that you can enter bars carrying. LA does not allow carry in any restaurant with class A liquor licenses, which is just about every bar and restaurant in the city.

Also may be looking for some ranges in the area. I will be heading to the cabin in early January.

I encourage you to just give these a gander; a lot of misinformation floating around (not exactly on this forum [because of good moderators]).
