1976 CJ7, 304/TF999/ twin stick D300, wagoneer D44s, 35" TSLs, spring over with YJ springs and some other stuff. I flopped right after this photo. Flipped it back up and drove the rest of the day.

The wife's 91 YJ, 4.0/Ax-15/ NP231, 33" ProComps, 4" BDS lift, and some other stuff.

I do not have anything now, but here are a few toys I have had in the past. I learned really quick that it is much better to have a toy to play with and something else to drive during the week. Therefore, most of my mountain vehicles have been a bunch of junk, but they were always fun. Most of these are just poser pics. We were never good at taking pictures.

First is a 1982 Datsun truck. It just looked illegal. Coming home from wheeling in Cowan one day, a couple of Franklin Co's finest decided to pick it over for about a half an hour and finally came up with a tail light out.

Next is a 1972 CJ5. It was pretty rough when I got it. I ended up giving an add-a-leaf and rebuilting the 304. It had a 304, 3 spd, limited slip front, welded rear, and 33s.

It is kinda a long story about how I cam about this next one, but when I got it, it was a stocker 1987 Cherokee with the injected 4.0 and auto. As pictured, it has about 5 inches under, welded rear, and 35s. It was the most comfortable riding jeep I have ever had and always went where I wanted it to go.

This last one is not mine, but I did a ton of work on it. It is a 1987 YJ with the 4.2 that was stock when we started and ended up with 35s, a spring over, add-a-leaf, 4.10s f&r, locked front, welded rear, dropped transfer case, and lengthened rear shaft.

The last couple of pics were an accident in the Tim's Ford lake bed at winter pool. At this point, total lift was about 8 inches, lockers, and 35s.

Well, hard to tell from the angle of the pic, but it appears the first obvious violation would be:

55-9-212(a)

No person shall operate upon a public highway or street any motor vehicle... if the motor vehicle or combination of vehicles is not equipped with rear fenders, mudflaps or mudguards of such size as to substantially prevent the projection of rocks, dirt, water or other substances to the rear...

That law is a little bit subjective, and I have never heard of anyone receiving a citation of such. The tires are not completely covered, but it did not seem to bother the LEOs that particular night or the state trooper that pulled me over at another time.

Cannot find my pics yet, but I used to have two that I fixed up.

1: 82 CJ. Redid wiring and instaled new ignition. Put a 4" lift, locked the rear end, many other mods.

2: 88 S-10. Put 3" body and 3" suspension on it, Engine from Camaro, plus many extras.

I really miss those but after hurting my back and having 5 kids, couldn't keep up maintenance or fit everyone. Funny thing is, the wife misses em more than I do.
