Not going to be able to pass because a lack of information, not responsible

no def of a bar no def of nightclub

over the summer come up with these definitions before they can pass

study committe to figure out whatthese definitions are.

Actually, I think this is a smart move. This way they can't call it a "bar" carry bill because it will not allow carry in bars via legal definition.

At least it wasn't killed. They seem to be putting a lot of time and effort in to getting it written so that everything is clear and consise. Might be a good thing. Might just be putting off it's death.

I think its a good thing for the way it looks to sheeple,but how will they define restaurants apart from bars and night clubs I wonder?Then what about bowling alleys and such?

Well for the most part it dead, in the sense that it will have to start from scratch next year, in both the house and the senate. A bill can carry over the summer within the same two year session of the legislature, but this is the last year in this session (2007-2008). Any bill that didn't pass this session will have to be reintroduced new in the next session (2009-2010). But if they can get it all worked out like they want, it could pass straight trough and be law July 1, 2009.
