Thompson Center Pro Hunter

Does anyone own a Thompson Center Pro Hunter? What do you think of it, and how does it handle?

I've been looking at one in 7mm/08, and want to know what ya'll think about them before I throw my money down.

I would really like one for deer and pig (if pig season ever opens again) next year.

I have an Encore Pro Hunter muzzleloader. I like it and it hadles well. I got it because I believe short of going with a custom build, it is the best muzzleloader on the market. Now that I have it I will get additional centerfire barrels. That being said, I would still opt for a good bolt action over the Pro Hunter. For me the extra barrels give me a back up to my bolt actions. Check out Mike Belm's site, www.bellmtcs.com , for Pro Hunter info.

I've hunted pig in Alabama with my flintlock. Raises your "pucker factor" a tad though!

I bet it will! If/when I go pig hunting it will be with my new 458socom
