Info needed for North Cumberland WMA range

Hi everyone...I'm new to both shooting and this board and I can use a little help. I'm planning to take my sons to do some shooting this weekend (gun and bow). I thought about John Sevier range because it has ranges for both but after seeing some of the feedback here I'm having second and third thoughts on going there. Like I said, I'm pretty new to shooting, my sons haven't shot before and the last thing they need is someone hovering over them stressing them out with pointers and directions. Plus, the thought of shooting my pistol at a bench doesn't appeal to me at this point. Having said all that, I'm looking at maybe going to the North Cumberland WMA (Royal Blue) range.

Any information about the range and feedback would be appreciated. Do they permit bow shooting as well as firearms or is it strictly firearms? Any direction-type information would also be great. I've looked and haven't found much information about the area except for going 4-wheeling. Thanks in advance.

Directions: I-75 North to Exit 141. Take a right off the exit then another immediate right. Follow the road past the "adult" store and continue about a 1/2 mile until you see Flatwoods Road on the left.

Flatwoods "road" is more like a trail(4x4 capable vehicle recommended). Follow the road about a mile and a half. The range parking lot will be on your left (and is clearly marked as such).

Not sure if archery equipment is permitted or not. I've never seen anyone using anything but firearms.
