VLTOR AK Stock

I bought one of the VLTOR AK 5 position receiver extensions and added a Magpul MOE stock to a WASR AK recently and I have to tell everyone it is FREAKING AWESOME! The part is VLTOR p/n re-47 it is a drop in replacement for your AK stock and fits Mil Spec AR adjustable stocks, it features 5 positions and 3 different dust covers to fit various manufacturers AK's I got to say that is the best gun parts money I have spent since I bought my first Wilson mag for a 1911. The stock puts you just a hair lower on the gun for an easier sight picture helps make the gun fit various lenghts of pull and just in general makes the gun feel more controlled and makes it much nicer to shoot for extended periods. I have to urge all AK owners to try one out teh VLTOR tube is around $90 bucks and you can use any Mil Spec AR stock so that will range from $40 to $400 bucks but I got it all for about $140, again best money I have spent in a while try it out Ill get pics up when I can.

Update on the AK project, I got a YHM quick attatch flash hider for my 7.62 can on this thing and between that and the stock I may be an AK convert. This rifle just feels good to shoot now, the suppressor takes the edge off the round so you can shoot it without ear protection and just looks really cool hanging off of an AK. I guess next I need to look at doing a short barrel so I can keep my overall length down with the can on it and find some load data on subsonic 7.62X39. still cant get into my Flikr account ill try to get pics up tomorrow.

I purchased one a few years back for a Romy I had because the normal AK stocks do not fit into my shoulder well. Well made and better than the plastic ones out on the market.
