Howdy all. Glad to be here. I've lived in Whites Creek area since July 2010. Born in Bristol, TN and raised in Nashville.

I am new to pistol shooting and reloading. I currently own a SigSauer P220 (with rail), a Smith & Wesson Model 29-10 .44 Magnum, and a Glock 23 Gen. 4 .40 S&W.

I recently fell into the deep end of the pool with pistol cartridge reloading. Kind of like like trying to drink from a fire hose; there is so much to learn. I really enjoy it. I have bought a Dillon RL550B and now reload all the above and .44 Special.

Glad this resource is available. Take care.

I have had my 550 since 1986 or so. Once you wear it out(not really but put some real wear on it) in about 20 years or so you can send it back to Dillon and for 25 bucks they completely rebuild it including a new powder measure and upgrades. I did mine about 2 years ago. Live in Scottsboro right down the road from you BTW. Welcome aboard.

Yes Sir, I keep hearing about Dillon's dedicated customer service and willingness to stand behind their products. I read the manufacturer's story behind the original reloading machine line and was just amazed.

I reckon the worst problems I have encountered thus far are with the new primer mechanism. But I'm learning. Just finished some .45 ACP, and itchin' to get drill weekend behind me to go shooting next week.

Sure pre-she-ate the welcome from you all.

I used to catfish in Bluff City, Boone Lake, along the "pier." Miss those days, and East TN in fact. Yeah, my RCBS hand primer didn't get much more use after I found progressive reloading.

Still good fishing over here, I am in Hickorey Tree ( Possum Creek by the old timers)if you are familiar.

Yes sir. Had a good friend in Hickory Tree. My granddad used to coon hunt all over the Blountville area , and was member of Fairview Coon Club. You know where F troop is on Blountville HWY, 11W?

Out near F Troop, around the bend, is Ellis Road. That's where my grandparents lived for years. Called "pot holler." I haven't been up that area since fall of 2009. Laughlin's are all over that area.
