Reminton R1 Enhanced Beavertail into Regular R1

Would this be a true drop in piece? I have seen you need to do some sculpting with Wilson Combat. I can't seem to find anybody that has done it or where to buy that part from Remington(or the hammer, which I think I am going with WC anyway). I don't have any problem finder other company's beavertails/triggers. Maybe they just don't sell them? I'll continue my hunt while I procrastinate.

Any help is appreciated.

Well looks like I am going to contact Remington, my google search returns me to my own thread. lol

And here is the response I got, "That part is factory restricted at this time. You can find many different grip safeties for your handgun through retailers like Midway or Brownell's."

Thanks for pointing this out Remington I had no idea!

:)

Off to chopping up the gun.
