My first 1911!!

Well here she is! I got a great deal on it brand new...sig c3 with crimson trace grips, night sights and flared mag well! Anybody ever had any issues with sits not eating certain ammo? What do you guys think for my first 1911? I have a feeling these are going to be just as addicting as Ar's!!

nice looking piece. i dont like how short the grip is on the sig 1911's, but with the flared magwell and extended mag id say it would be about right.

I'm not a fan of the flared magwell but to each is their own. Besides that it is a beautiful gun!!! I eventually want to get a Sig 1911, the R1 does it's job for now. As everybody always says, "Buy Wilson Combat 47d or Chip McCormick Magazines". Said rightfully so at that, I never have problems with either of mine. The stock mags mess up every now and then, FTF.

Very nice 1911. As mentioned above, Wilson mags work very well.

Nice find. They didn't make many of those with the flared magwell. If it shoots as good as mine, you'll be happy!

PS, will probably need broke in good. Expect to shoot 250-500 out of it soon. Didn't have any major problems only failure to go into battery from a fresh mag. quick smack of the back of the slide and it went fine. Came home cleaned it and works great! Fed HP's (WWB) and Ball just fine.
