I see on here from tiime to time people wanting to buy deer meat from other people. Now as you all may or may not be aware that is illegal and frowned upon by the FDA and TWRA. SO.....I would like to start this threat for a perfectly legal solution. If you would like someone to harvest you a deer because you need the meat, are dowen on your luck, or just don't have the time to go out hunting to harvest your own Please put your name on this site and when I hunter sees that you need one and they would be willing to harvest and tag a deer for you and "DONATE" you a deer they can PM you directly. NO MONEY SHOULD EXCHANGE HANDS EVER DURING THIS PROCESS! You can give it away all day or even drop it off to be processed, but the person picking up the meat would pay the processing FEE's ONLY and to avoid the gray area should pay the processor only! Just would like to help some folks out. I have one person that I promised a deer, but if I can get more I will and contact whom ever come forward first. If you would like to participate in this donation process try to pick a person that is local to you.

Thoughts? Anyone am I off base here?

I haven't had time to go hunting at all this year other then one time. I'm in no way in "need" of meat, but would love to put some deer in the freezer.

WOW...Montgomery County doesn't have a deer place this year! I thought something looked funny about that building up the road.

Ummm, my family is not in need at all but I also cannot hunt for myself. Would love some deer but could not take too much. ( no deep freezer) If anyone is near Memphis I would gladly trade services. Lol, by that i mean we could match you in making as much jerky as you would in turn donate to us.

I've got a mostly empty deep freezer and a powerful hankering for venison.

Unfortunately for me my wife won't eat the stuff. She says she ate it six days a week for the first 18 years of her life and she's not going to eat it again!

I hope this works out for other folks though!
