Oakley Halfjackets mainly. I've had them for almost 4 years. I have a pair of Flak Jackets as well.

Just waiting for a good deal.

Also Mike.357 you said the Oakleys UV protection wears off? I have always heard they are the best.

He was saying wearers of "cheap sunglasses"

I have a pair of Ray Ban Aviators that I bought, drum roll please, 25 years ago in 1986, when I 1st took flying lessons.

Other than those I usually use safety sunglases from our supply room with the little bi-focal magification insert in the bottom for reading.

Maui Jim, frameless Makaha. Expensive but I'm rich as shiiite, so I don't care.

I have oakley half jackets I like, usually for outdoor rowdiness, have many scratches

Oakley M Frame or shooting, both tinted and clear lenses.

I have some Oakley SI Square Wire that are polarized:

Ray Ban 8304 - light as a feather:

And then some huge douchebag rainbow mirrored aviators that were $5 at Walmart. More for comedic value.

Similar to the top ones:

I have had Oakley glasses before, still have one pair as a backup in the truck. I was very disappointed in their durability.

I missed that he said durability not lens issues lol. I've always liked Oakley I just think I look stupid in them.

My Granny forgot her sunglasses one day. Those big ol' Solar Shield deals that wrap over your reading glasses. I had a spare set in the glove. She loved them for keeping the sun out of the sides of her eyes AND because the lenses weren't scratched and obscuring her view. Now her iPhone doesn't seem so out of place. Hipster!

Smiths. I've worn several different brands, but Smiths are the most scratch resistant I've used. Had a pair on top of my head a few weeks ago when a roofer accidentally (?) threw an old shingle on my head. Just a couple very light scratches.

I've had several pairs of Bolles and Wiley-X. They usually were too scratched to be usable after a few months.

As said above, I don't recommend wearing cheap sunglasses. I only have one good eye and I'll spare no expense to protect it.

BTW, Smiths are a bit expensive retail. I watch for close outs of discontinued models.
