My new Sig Scorpion 1911

Well here's my new favorite 1911. It's the Sig Sauer Scorpion. It's got the 5" barrel, night sights, g10 grips, rail etc. I went to the gun show in Nashville today thinking I was gonna get a Kimber and ended up at guns and leather and they just happened to have this beauty. Once I held it I knew it was coming home with me. Can't wait till morning so I can try her out.. Anybody have any experience with these?[/img]

I have one. I love it, its by far my favorite gun. Shoots great, not picky at all. More accurate than I am.

Well I had a chance to try it out today. All I can say is WOW!! This thing really amazed me today. The only ammo I had was 100 rounds of the steel cased Tullammo and it ran flawlessly. It ate that stuff up and never had a hiccup. The hogue g10 grips are awesome, the

gun really grips your hand and the front stippling is great.It shoots great and has really no recoil to speak of. It did shoot a little low and to the left but the grouping was about 3 inches so I was pleased. When I get the sights adjusted just a bit it'll be perfect. This is my first Sig 1911 but I have a feeling it won't be the last. If anybody's looking for a 1911 I would highly recommend a Scorpion. You won't regret it.

I would agree with your assessment Sig makes great 1911's I have the POW one and its awesome

Very nice! I got a Sig TACOPS about a month ago and just love it.

Did you happen to see the Scorpion review in Combat Handguns? The reviewer gave it VERY HIGH marks.

I can't wait to see the Sig 1911 Extreme when they finally start coming to the FFLs.
