District of Columbia Delegate Eleanor Holmes orders a crowd of those against the unconstitutional DC Gun Ban to "pipe down!" Word to the wise for any person in public office -- it is not a good idea to tell the people who you serve to keep quiet -- remember you work for the people, not the other way around.

Delegate Holmes there is good reason why the people of the District of Columbia oppose the unconstitutional ban you support-- it has stolen the rights of the people you swore to represent!!

Wow.

Thats a lot of arrogance if you ask me. Going on and on about being in congress for 15 years and "you" (gun supporters) look strange to me, then the pipe down comment. Sadly she will probably never be voted out of office.

Isn't it ironic that she's upset that government took her "right" to protect herself and family and children by repealling her law that took those very rights from the people. Pot calling the kettle black. It doesn't even make sense.

Typical political crap. My opinion as an elected "Noble" is more important than your opinion. You are just a peasant.

This is the way the majority of them think once they have been in office for a week or two.

This woman needs help. And I don't see her listed on any of the boards of the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Associations.

It should say Stoned or something....

Still not sure why a funeral director needs a certificate to show someone is "Def (deaf)"

Of course she's on the boards! How do you think she did so well with the deceased vote!?

She make a very good case to repeal home rule. The residents have pretty much consistently elected idiots to represent them.

There is no durn way I would allow her to talk to me that way regardless of where it was.I makes me mad just listing to her talk that way to them. She needs help!

She has been in treatment for her "sickle cell" for quite some time. She recently made it back to the chambers. I don't think it affecter her ability to draw the per diem. She is one of the ones that flies from Memphis to Nashville.

I noticed something about the board that she is "on" with the Funeral Directors and Morticians but I will not say what it was. Though I don't think I saw Memphis Funeral Home listed as a member.

I agree with the people in her district being too unintelligent to not vote for her. Of course the man that ran against her screwed things up by forcing the recount/run off election and spending so much time tying up the senate. Had he left it alone she might not have been elected again.
