It's basically the same as a tracer except they can't see it and it isn't incendiary. I can see the self defense uses but I think IDPA night matches is where they would really rock.

Seems a 9mm sticky would fit on a 40 and 45 just fine. I plan on using the 9mm for 45 as well.

I suspect daylight performance is going to pail in comparison to standard primers.

I'm wondering if it's simply a reflective sticker. Maybe someone can place a bit of reflective tape on the back of a bullet to compare results?

Some were fairly visible, do think a hotter and faster powder would help?

I will try using Clays to see how it works. It isn't my normal 9mm powder but it is my fastest I have on hand. I normally use Power Pistol for all my pistol loading.

Tried the reflective sticker thing, using both red and white 3M Scotchlite reflective tape. I wasn't able to see anything going downrange. I might try it again sometime, if I ever get one of those portable spotlights. I'll aim the light at the target and see if anything reflects back. If so, it'll be a good "tracer" for reloaders with more time than money.

Ok, I got the kit today and I am sending it back. I would consider it a rip-off.

It is glow in the dark stickers, nothing more. The light produced by the powder "charges" the glow sticker. The same can be done with stickers bought at Walmart or even glow in the dark paint.

For the $28 I paid for 85 stickers I feel ripped off, even a bit dirty for letting myself get screwed this hard by a complete stranger.

Can someone try the Glow Paint idea? That seems cheap and easy and practical.
