sorry to re-visit this.....but i gotta say this.

I was more upset over this game than any other I can ever remember! I don't know why either! I like Memphis-have always followed them. I like Kansas too. I hate to sound like a sore loser, but IMHO, this is another example where refs blew the call and screwed somebody! If you remember earlier this year, there were a couple instances where Refs called fouls in the last second of a game and changed the outcome for the two teams. HUGE OUTCRY! "Should'uv been a NO CALL!!" "REFS BLEW IT!!" etc...etc... I specifically noticed for the rest of the season, teams could get away with murder in the closing seconds and the refs were scared to call the foul. Saw it on more than one occasion. SECONDLY, if you watched the game, you saw Rose bank in a three as the shot clock expired. Ref reviewed the call. AND CHANGED IT TO A 2 pter!! If you watched the replays, his front foot was over the line as he began to take the jump shot. When he jumped, his BACK foot was a split second later getting off the ground, putting him behind the 3ptline as the ball left his hands!! ROBBED! I hate to blame the refs, but they SUCK!!

with all that said, Mem. missed free throws and looked like a deer in the headlights for the last 10 sec. of the game. I too think Cal. should've called a TO. Some fact (fts) some opinion (TimeOut). I feel for the team. Heartbreaker!!!!! And Kansas made it happen.......give em credit.

Yes, but with them probably going to the Big East in a year or two they will have their rivalries back
