I'm getting a new Walther p99 Monday from Frank @ ETS and I'm looking for some holster recommedations. I'd prefer leather or some type of neoprene. Any tips would be appreciated.

if you want to make a hell of a holster statement, check those out. very nice holsters. money must NOT be an object when getting one of these babies.

The model looked fine until I saw the tattoo :).For a quality leather holster I'll stick with Milt Sparks.

It depends on its use.

I pretty much always recommend Don Hume. Excellent and reasonably priced holsters. Oh yeah, always go with leather.

I'm a huge fan of tatts. I got a few myself.

Whats wrong with tats?I like a girl with a nice tat :)

A tattoo on a woman is like scribbiling on a Rembrandt with a crayon. It just destroys the picture.I could go into explicit detail but this is a moderated forum.:D

Gotta agree on this one. The idea of seeing my wife at 55 with a dragon tat isn't all that appealing.:D

Well of coarse a big ugly dragon is ugly period, but a nice little feminine tat just makes them stand apart from the norm.A blond haired.blued eyed girl is nice to look at,but give me one with red hair and a bird tattoo on her back :D

I saw this on th e Walther site & it looks almost exactly like what im wanting. Its does seem a litttle pricey & im wondering on the overall quality as well. Since im new to the holster deal could some of you with more exp give me the pros & cons of this type of holster. Im only used to a cheap Uncle Mikes I used to keep my Glock 26 in.

Thanks

Jason

I also called guns & leather twice to see about getting 1 made. I left to messages on the machine for the leather shop but I never have heard anything back.

I like leather, the plastic and/or cordora(uncle mike's) seem to wear the gun finish prematurely. Milt Sparks makes some nice one's but pricey; Desanstis and also Gould & Goodrich are nice and reasonable in price

If I go with something similiar to a K&D would you suggest inside or outside the waistband & why? I really like the look of the Maverick Defender.

Add something instead of repost.

What is that holster made of?

As far as holster wear,I think its a non issue.Every holster will wear your finish

Either is extremely good. It's a personal choice. You can get the Cochise Defender and wear it either way.
