Of your choices, I'd choose the Glock 19, because I prefer compact over subcompact.

However, if the G19 the ideal size for you, I'd recommend adding a CZ P-01 or PCR to your list of choices.

the px4 subcompact feels the best to me, but i have yet to shoot one. the m&p is the next best in the hand, but havent gotten to shoot one of those either. the xdM would be the next on my list. feels good in the hand and they shoot phenominal. i would take any of them over a glock because in my opinion they feel like crap in your hand. just my $.02

Out of those i would go with the Glock 19 just on the fact that i know it will go boom every time i pull the trigger.

Well I pulled the trigger today (Pun intended)! Bought a Springfield XD40 Compact. I decided to go 40 over 9 and compact over Subcompact for better shooting. Good purchase?62561561-786a-1f46.jpg

I think they call that the "service" model. The XD40 was my very first handgun. Great guns. Just butt-ugly. :)

That is still a big and bulky gun for carry IMO but if you are happy with it then that is all that matters. XD's a great guns.

Sparks you told me he M&P but you also mentioned this gun. Haters will hate! Haha

Yeah yeah just harassing you. It's a nice gun for sure. Only advice is this:

Dont carry to Wally if you are planning on stealing light bulbs!

That was my first owned handgun. Have it today still carry today. Hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

I carry a XD9 Tac as my edc. A good holster and belt and I have no problems (5'11" @ #160) love my XD but as mentioned it is as personal as taste in women....(or men for our lady folk).

I actually just picked up a XDm-40 today and plan on making it my EDC, at least during the colder months.

I know it wasnt on your list but since others mentioned it , I do LOVE my CZ P-01 !!!!! It has a nice testing history and has a NATO number on it where it went through sevreral tests and passed. I love mine. Good ole traditional hammer fired gun. And it's the same size of a Glock 19 .
