Hello. My name is Edwin. I am a shooter. As part of my 12 step program to wean myself from the non-shooting population (i.e., the "Condition White" sheeple), I found this great website.

I have been living in the Middle Tennessee area since Dad was transferred here in 1968 while employed by Dupont. I grew up in Mt. Juliet, attended Vanderbilt University, and earned an MBA from Belmont (while working full time).

Did a short stint in the Army (MOS = 91D, Operating Room Specialist), but really enjoyed the firearm training and found out I was a pretty dang good shot with the M-16 (Expert Badge).

However, I was not an official firearm owner until the first week of July. Since then, I've bought a pistol (XDm 3.8 9mm), one for my lovely (Sig P232), then bought a Remington 870 Synthetic in 20 gauge.

About a month ago, I traded the Springfield on a Sig P226 9mm Enhanced Elite and love it. Last week I bought a Sig 1911 TACOPS and am starting the break-in process (if needed) this morning.

I am a forum member on only one other site (Smalljaw.com, a fishing forum for Dale Hollow Lake), so now I have to get a proper avatar. I believe I will be able to add to the posts in the Hunting/Fishing section, you reckon?

Looking forward to getting to know the members here and learning more about the sport!
