Where is this that you "click through the forum" to get this good of a deal?

Do most places still charge the full $25-35 on top of the background for something as small as a lower? Will they generally just charge one fee for two lowers on one order? (to spread the cost).

I've seen a couple of people mention that D&T arms does $10 transfers, but I checked their website and it says $25 I think (?).

Thanks

I think D&T you have to tell them you are a TGO member. Music city pawn does up to 5 for $25 total. You have to click until the ad comes up. You can go directly to PSA's website but I'm sure the forum owner would appreciate getting credit.

great deal, I ordered a "few" ;-D

If you don't mind me asking, who do you use for your transfer?

I want to grab one of these, but to be completely honest, I have never bought anything and had it transferred from the internet.

Ok, I just went and clicked the logo at the top to refresh the home page about 30-40 times and never saw the PSA ad. Anyone else had luck?

Thanks for confirming the D&T transfer thing. I'm about an hour away, but if they'll do them for $10 I'll find a way to make a trip up there, and they might sell some accessories too. Good times for both parties :-)

their site is pretty fubar'd....go under stripped lowers (ar parts section) and click on the "non picture" the little error symbol and it will go through the menu's for you. Murgatroy I transfer to CCA or Bill outpost...cca charges $25.00 bills $20 so no biggie either way.

Dang. $50 for a transfer. I have never paid more than $25 anywhere. If it were not for the range and taking my wife to ladies night on Tuesday, I guess I would never go in there. Every gun I have seen there that I own, I have given atleast $50 less for it than what they were asking. Some much less.

The Outpost Armory on 24 south of Murfreesboro charges $35. I believe when I asked OnTarget in Murfreesboro a while back they said $45.

The Great Outdoor Store in Jackson charges $25.

They went down. It is posted on their site as $25, and I was in there a few weeks ago and was personally told $25.

CCA will charge $50 if you transfer in something that they normally stock. Or at least they used to.

Yeah I was buying a spikes tactical lower, and they tried to convince me to buy one they had in stock instead, now that I remember.

Guns For America in Nashville charges $25, $10 for backgound check and $15 they keep. In my eyes, I feel $25 is acceptable. Anymore than that and I will walk away.

Yeah, that's pretty much why I stopped using them. They'd hassle me every time I had something transferred in. I understand they want people to buy from them, but it's not like I can have a gun shipped to my doorstep if I choose to order it elsewhere.

I did my only transfer through Bill's Outpost and they were only $20. If i buy another online I'll do it through them.

I am transferring mine through CCA, I have done a fair bit of business through them, which is odd, since the very first time I walked in there I got the cold shoulder. I gave them a second chance, and I will have to admit, they have done me right over the last couple of years. I took my HCP there and I shoot there at least once a month.

I emailed PSA and CCA after my purchase, I had emails back from both of them in the morning (I ordered on Thanksgiving) telling me that they had me taken care of and they would notify me when my lowers were in.

All in all I am impressed so far with how I have been treated. I have never been a high dollar customer, but I have spent some money in there.
