I'm trying to find someone (preferably near Nashville) that does this type of stippling. I think it's called "Tree Bark Stippling".

Yes, I'm sure that it does, but Glock is usually good about taking care of stuff that's out of warranty. Technically, it doesn't really matter, because like strick said, the warranty is only a year anyway.

One of my fellow IDPA shooters recently sent back a five year old Glock 34 w/probably 50,000 rounds through it because one of the rear frame rails came loose. Glock sent him a shipping label and took care of it, no charge.

Isnt the warranty only a year?

The change in length of warranty, to the best of my knowledge, was effective a few WEEKS ago

Glock guns now have limited lifetime warranties (up from 1yr limited) and if you have a old one and send it to them unmolested they will go threw it for you for free you just have to pay for the shippping or you could take it to them and wait on it :D

I don’t know if anyone around here does it or not. But I have seen some DIY stippling jobs that look very good. I have also seen some that made me laugh out loud. :)

After all is all about artistic ability and nothing about gunsmithing.

Dan Burwell gets good reviews.

Yea, I checked them out. I'm not real keen about it taking 5-8 weeks to get it back. They are a few buck cheaper than some of the others I've seen, but damn that's a long wait.

I'd really like to find someone close, so I can get a first hand look at one before I get it done.

Ya, but it a good reason to BUY another gun while one is in the shop!

Yea, I saw that video, but I really like the type of stippling in the picture I posted above. This XD was brand new until I took it to the range earlier this week. I was thinking about using it as a carry, but I've decided to pimp it out instead. I'm gonna get many hard chromed parts, or polish them, and modify some parts of it.. If I'm going to do that, I just thing the look of the picture I posted will make for a better fit when it's all done.
