anyone ever use one of these?

https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=0004487551

thought it would be quicker and less messy then a lube pad for all the .223 i reload?

since i tumble, then lube - decap and resize - trim then throw back in tumbler or sonic cleaner to remove lube

then run back through loadmaster a second time to load anyway this looks like it would be quicker and case feeder tubes wouldn't get coated with lube LOL since they get lubed as they are decapped?

i had to order some other things so i grabbed one will see how it works tomorrow.

any thoughts?

I will be curious to see what folks say. I've only been reloading for about 1.5 years but to me that looks like added time.

I use Hornady one shot and a couple of loading trays. Fill up the trays, spray the front side of the case, rotate the trays and spray the back side. It takes just a few minutes to lube 100 cases this way.

I have one and use it for volume loading of 223 for an AR. I see it as a good thing for volume loading when "cutting" corners is permitted such as primer pocket prep/flash hole/de-lubing. I tumble, then use this item, skip primer pocket prep, size, go right into priming, and on and on.

When I'm nit picking accuracy I don't use this tool but my AR and its ammo aren't intended to be a "sniper" combo. "Good enough" works for me with my AR (see my below sig line :koolaid: ). Overall I like mine and use it when its needed. Its not entirely necessary but many things us reloaders do also fit into that category and "we" still do them for some reason or another.

spray lube rocks

yea i have been using the spray lube also but still have almost had a stuck case or two with 223, i ordered 2 cans from midsouth this am along with the lube die, as I spotted it after adding the other to my cart, but figured better get both anyway as i use the spray on some 9mm too, have never needed it with 45 acp though.
