It's great to get up in the morning and read a little good news!

Good start to a good day. Wife and I are going to the range to get a little anti-bad-guy trigger time.

Wait you can't out draw a drawn gun?

Good for him!

We now know what he would do in that situation.

Playing Devil's Advocate, maybe while they were trying to get it out of their waistband he drew from a holster ;)

I lived in Houston and worked in some of the worst parts of town. I have worked in East St Louis MO, Harlem and Jamaica New York, Miami and Chicago but I have never felt the need more for a side arm than I do in most parts of Chattanooga. It's going to take more instances like this one to make decent people feel good about being out and about in town.

Except the average person only got two things from that story. A: bad guys with guns and B: even the victims have guns. Which, in their minds, doubles the chances of them getting shot.

It's always gratifying to hear when a good guy wins and a bad guy doesn't. it's also always a sad reminder that we need to carry to be able to protect ourselves from those who think they have a right to take from you whatever you have that they want.
