new handgun law ?

Just caught this on the news . I didn't know if this is old news. I think most states recognize other states permits any way. But it does look like a positive note or on the negative side possibly let the federal gov override the state. Just throwing it out there sorry if its old hat.

Several threads on it already. Not law yet. It's only passed the house and has no companion bill in the senate yet.

No companion bill, no chance of ever passing in the senate. If it did the veto pen would be out in one second. Even less chance the veto could be overridden...

But that's just my opinion...
