Neighbors Poaching

Was woken up this morning before sunrise by 4 rifle shots in about 10 seconds less than 100 yards from my house.

Got to love those semi auto muzzle loaders.

I saw the deer come in last night in my backyard. Hope some of them got away.

Can't call them on it, since they are pretty dangerous (Unstable Meth Dealers). The cops told me to stay as far away from them as possible last time they stopped by to arrest one of them.

Man if they were poaching 100 yards from your house then they can poach YOU from that same distance. Maybe you can contact somebody above the level of the local police, because heaven-forbid you or anyone living near you get hit by strays.

I was going to ask the same thing. I know some people "down the road" who wears bed sheets in the back yard around a big bonfire a couple times a month. They were firing a couple rounds late the other night. They were having a "nightfire".....I guess....

Total assumption since I watched 5 does move in late last night on my acreage and the shots were right before sunrise. I can't think of much else that would get them out of bed that early.

Wouldn't surprise me if they were on my property, too. It was pretty loud.

The preacher rose with a red face.

"Someone in this congregation has spread a rumor that I belong to the K.K.K. This is a horrible lie and one which a Christian community cannot tolerate. I am embarrassed and do not intend to accept this. Now I want the party who did this to stand and ask forgiveness from God and this Christian family."

No one moved.

The preacher continued, "Do you not have the nerve to face me and admit this is a falsehood. Remember, you will be forgiven and in your heart you will feel glory. Now stand and confess your transgression."

Again all was quiet.

Slowly a "drop dead" gorgeous blond with a body that would not stop rose from the third pew. Her head was bowed and voice quivered as she spoke.

"Reverend there has been a terrible misunderstanding. I never said you were a member of the Ku Klux Klan. I just told a couple of friends you were a wizard under the sheets."
